A century ago, a foreign ex-lunar family conquered the island city of Therah. They deposed its then rulers, Mahaan House Majhii, and were recognized as a new Kav’orran Mahaan House due to a weakened dynasty at the time. Over the past century, the foreign culture has fused with the culture of Therah, and House Aylarov is truly recognized as one of the Mahaan houses despite their treacherous beginnings. They use the symbol of a white shark jumping out of the blue ocean in front of the three moons across the black night.

Recovering from the loss their house suffered in the last rebellion and the Lunar occupation of their city not too long ago, Princess Miraas has focused much of her lifetime in building up the defenses of Therah and creating contacts and schemes across the nation. A cunning older woman, she has aged gracefully and is unofficially the spymaster of the Dynasty. The Mahataraja does not trust her much, but has to accommodate her on his council due to the political pressure of having each of the seven houses represented. She holds most of her emotions to herself, and puts up many faces to interact with others.
Kanat Aylarov
F Human, Heir of Therah
Kanat is the heir of Therah and the only remaining child of Princess Miraas after the death of Kanat’s older brother only three years ago, Babrich Aylarov. Still in her late-twenties, the young would-be-princess never expected to be the ruler of Therah. No longer left to her old carefree life, she is now learning administrative ways as she expects to become the next Princess any time as her mother is so elderly. Despite the lack of experience, most nobles are ecstatic to have the beautiful Kanat be the new heir as her older brother was widely disliked and even rumored to be a traitor. Princess Miraas is trying to wed Kanat to the young Rajkumar Zavii Zaaba III, and mend the divide between the two houses.
