“The Sun Everlasting.”

After Sol Sultana’s sultanate fell along with her at the end of the first era, control of the city of Kasaaq passed onto some of her remaining loyalists and supposed family. This became House Suryag, who ruled the Suryag Sultanate for many centuries to come. Recreating much of the grandeur of the city, they flourished with great infrastructure built by thousands of slaves. This led to their eventual downfall, with a slave rebellion leading to the rise of a new leader, Rakash Zaaba I, who deposed the house by killing its last ruler and became Taraja of Kasaaq. Aside from Sol’s Sandpit, almost all traces of House Suryag has been eliminated from the city in the centuries since their downfall. Some think that many survivors of the house flocked to the Church of the Black Sun. They used the symbol of Sol’s white sun over a yellow sky. Their symbol is not showcased anywhere in the city, as it was banned by the Mahatarajas soon into their rule.
