“Mother's Might.”
This house of desert-dwarves has ruled the under-mountain city of Ammba for millennia. Formerly Maharanas of the city-state, they were brought into the dynasty after a lost siege of the city. The fiercely independent house has held animosity against House Zaaba for a majority of Kasaaqi history, but recently the two have developed a better relationship due to shared interests of interconnecting the desert using steam locomotives. They use the symbol of three brown Aurumvoraxes on a yellow field.
The members in 3E470 are:
Ranaji Jai Kawar Sahib
M Desert-Dwarf, Rana under the Mountain, Ruler of Ammba
Ranaji is a jubilant older dwarf, and well respected across the lands. A connoisseur of cultures and the arts, he holds textiles, music, and artworks in high esteem. He wishes to push Ammba as a center point of culture in the desert, and works closely with the Mahataraja to build the steam train lines to connect the cities. He tries to put down any dissent against Kasaaqi rule in his city, as he remembers the defeat his family suffered not too long ago when they tried to rebel.
Rajkumar Sammar Kawar
M Desert-Dwarf, Prince of Ammba
A young desert-dwarf, Sammar is far from ready to be a ruler. The only child of Ranaji, he has a lot of expectations put upon him as the successor to House Kawar’s ancient legacy. Most of his peers know him to be clumsy and bad with an axe, unable to hold his own in combat. Sammar does have an eye for diplomacy, but his social anxiety gets in the way of him actually getting anything done. Still, there is potential in him, and he has many years to figure out how things work before he ascends the throne of Ammba.
Inspector Harosh Kawar
M Desert-Dwarf, Inspector within the Sena
A guard inspector within the city, Harosh is actually the nephew of Ranaji and Sammar’s older cousin. A happy yet introspective man, Harosh prefers a desk job dealing with the high brass of Ammba instead of being out there catching criminals or solving mysteries.
