“The Promised Night.”
Offshoots of House Zaaba that started with a legitimized half-drow bastard named Zoran Zehir I. After failing to succeed his father, he was made the leader of his own Mahaan house, and given control of the town of Wa’sadak. House Zehir continued to grow their drow bloodline, and had many clashes with House Zaaba throughout history. After a period of civil war in the Dynasty, almost all members of the family were executed by Mahataraja Kretu II. The only survivor was taken to the Edeni, a young Zaran Zehir, who has become one of the leaders of the Calamity Covenant. They use the symbol of a black-purple spider.
Coming into an alliance with House Mathii, House Dabull, and House Aylarov a century ago, Vakram Zehir led the ‘Zehir Rebellion’, a period of civil war in the Dynasty. However, this was short lived, and Mahataraja Kretu II defeated Vakram Zehir, and burned down all remaining members of House Zehir inside their fort.
