"Come on old man, KILL ME, DO IT!"
—Ashlord Anila Khai fighting Fek.
Ashlord Anila Khai is the current 'Ashlord' of the Ashpits, a secret fighting ring underneath the city of Casthys. He is also a notorious pirate engaged in the slave trade.
A lanky yet powerful insane man, Anila Khai killed his former captain Shri Kunala Qrozk and took his title of Pirate Lord of Wrath, something he held onto for less than a year before giving it away to Fek of the The Phoenix Nebula.
Biography
Early Life
Anila Khai was an urchin living in Casthys, growing up in and around the Ashpits all his life. He became a pirate under the leadership of Pirate Lord of Wrath, Shri Kunala Qrozk.
When he was 17, he had a small romantic fling with Shoila Ahdini. Although, owing to his unpredictable and insane nature, the relationship didn't go anywhere.
Curse of the Blood Sea
"Kunala was weak, so I put him away." - Anila Khai.
In 3E452, the crew of the Phoenix Nebula destroyed one of the slave ring operations of Shri Kunala in the Cove of Cries. However, they weren't aware that Shri Kunala was already killed by his underling, Anila Khai, the new Pirate Lord of Wrath.
Later in the year, the crew of the Nebula visited him at the Ashpits of Casthys to ask for his help in sealing the Abyssgate. They wanted him to reconvene at Shipwreck City, and he refused. He then challenged Fek to a one-on-one fight, and almost killed him. However, Fek managed to beat Anila Khai.
Khai still refused to take his fleet to Shipwreck City though, instead giving the Piece of Wrath to Fek and making him the titular Pirate Lord of Wrath instead.
"Me and my fleet will defend the Ashfall Isles, y'all go have fun. Pirate Lords is a bullshit concept anyway- If you think that piece of trash makes you better than anyone else, tum hi chutiye ho." - Anila Khai giving up his title to Fek.
