Baron Zhang Baoshi is the Baron of the city of Chanmasek, as well as the owner of the Tangerine Bank. He essentially controls the entire Tangerine Domain, and is one of the richest and most important people in the world.
He used to be the Pirate Lord of Gluttony during the Curse of the Blood Sea campaign.
Biography
Early Life
Baron Zhang Baoshi was born on Chanmasek to a noble family. After his father's death, he rose to quickly control the city, and took over the Tangerine Bank and its vast reserves of money.
Inheriting so much money and power wasn't enough, and he quickly employed many pirates under his command. He even 'bought' the Piece of Gluttony from its previous holder, becoming the Pirate Lord of Gluttony.
Under his control, the bank became extremely geopolitically important. He started to control the Tangerine Domain, named after the bank itself. These islands were the gateway to the continent of Eteru, and he profited greatly from nearly all trade between Eteru and the rest of the world. Due to his position as a Pirate Lord, the bank's merchant vessels were given immunity from pirate raids.
Curse of the Blood Sea
In 3E452, the crew of the Phoenix Nebula visited him in Chanmasek to ask for his fleet to join the reconvening at Shipwreck City. He initially refused, but this was the exact moment that the Abyssgate reopened. Demons invaded the city, and the crew of the Nebula fought most of them back. Realizing the true threat, he agreed to help.
At the reconvening at Shipwreck City, he met the other lords and reminisced. He was the easiest Pirate Lord to convince, agreeing to help solely because he should. The fact that the end of the world would hurt his profits was also a factor.
Baoshi: "Lord Belanar, or well, Governor Belanar- I didn't expect for you to give up that card of yours. I remember vividly, you slitting the throat of someone who had wronged you, and turning their corpse into a pile of coins."
Belanar: "…Good times indeed, Baoshi. But times change, and so must I."

After the reconvening, his fleet helped push back the demons and close the Abyssgate for good. Despite the The Pirate Court 'disbanding', Baoshi continued his operations as a Pirate fleet owner anyway.
Tale of the Sunless Dunes
In 3E467, Baron Zhang Baoshi was visiting the city of Kasaaq during the Kasaaqi Artisan's Fair. He was present at the ball when an Angel descended upon the festivities and announced the Calamity Covenant's war against the Kasaaqi Dynasty.
Timeline
3E399 - Zhang Baoshi is born in Chanmasek.
3E420 - He inherits the city and the Tangerine Bank from his father.
3E424 - He buys the Piece of Gluttony, becoming the Pirate Lord of Gluttony.
3E452 - Baoshi meets the Phoenix Nebula, and later helps seal away the Abyssgate.
3E467 - He was present in Kasaaq at the ball where the Calamity Covenant declared war on the Kasaaqi Dynasty.
