House Obawan used to be a Kav'orran Mahaan House as vassals to House Dabull, and the simhari-panshera family controlled the city of Kaitzur and the surrounding area of the Rethi River. Following the independence of Kaitzur and subsequent formation of the Vyzumi Republic, the members of House Obawan became governors of the city instead of royal overlords. They use the symbol of a cream lion over an orange field.
