Traintown is a village in the northern Vyzum Wastes next to some hills on the bank of the Rethi River. It is one of the only areas in control of the Kasaaqi Hukumat on the southern side of the river, as the “town” was built to facilitate the building of the railway line connecting Newhope to Dibayad. The village also hosts a flourishing mining community. Starting as a small village built just to support the bridge-building for the railway project, the starting population mostly consisted of artificers and their families. Traintown became important in the tension between the Hukumat and the Calamity Covenant in 3E467, as the railway connecting the two nations became a hotspot of political importance before the line was severed. The village served as the spot from which kasaaqi forces advanced onto Kaitzur. After the skirmish, the railway was repaired during the current ceasefire.
