Morban (ꯃꯣꯔꯕꯥꯅ) is is a town within the Km’mala Peaks in-between Keningjei and Koorjing. The town is built on top of the mountains that separate the Kenal Valley from the Koorjei Valley, and served as the mid-point of the road between the two cities. After the destruction of Keningjei, trade gradually lessened through Morban and the population actually decreased over time. Nowadays it is known for its monasteries and terrace farms. Morban also has extensive mines underneath it, leading to an increasing population of desert-dwarves who have immigrated from Ammba like in the rest of the valley. As Keningjei is beginning to recover and grow again, it is expected that the trade routes that once fueled Morban will eventually resume, and the town will become integral to the rebuilding of Keningjei. For now, it is a stop only for monks and miners much like the town of Hebanyang on the other side of the Koorjei Valley. Morban is the highest settlement in the region, rising high above both the valley cities as well as the other mountain towns. It has a great view of both of the valleys as well as Koorjing, and on a good day the monasteries of Morban are visible on the mountaintops from the low-lying cities.
