Magrang (ꯃꯥꯒꯔꯡ) is a town north of Koorjing at the base of a large volcano known as Magrathi Parbat within the Km’mala Peaks. It is the northernmost settlement of the Kasaaqi Hukumat, marking the mountain border with al-Shhubus. The town sustains itself using desert agriculture, terrace farming, as well as the many hot springs and geysers around the volcanic mountains. The town and the volcano have long been considered a holy site for the god Magrath. The god of destruction is known to have slumbered within this volcano for many years back in the first era, leading to his followers founding the town around the volcano. The town now houses a large temple to Magrath built into the volcano’s side, leading deep into the magma-filled crater. This temple is a famous pilgrimage site in Ashtadharma as well as the old draconic religion, and it also attracts pilgrims from the orcish religions as the orcs consider Magrath to be their patron deity.

There is a presence of the Veiled Guard in this town to protect its inhabitants from the undeath north of it. There are said to be unholy things in the darkness around the volcano stemming from the nearby dark city of al-Fahim. Magrang is unique demographically as it is the only settlement within the Km’mala Peaks that has a majority population of chromatic-dragonborn instead of metallic-dragonborn. Additionally, it is the only settlement within the Hukumat in which humans make up less than 5% of the population.
