Bloodfort or Khunqila is a fort built in the Edeni grassland just south of Kasaaq. It was built in 3E222 after one of the bloodiest battles of the Kasaaqi conquest of the Edeni. The Kasaaqi Sena met the forces of High Chieftain Idris Tokalu IV of Ghasarii in this field of grass. Nearly half of the nine-thousand strong Ghasaran forces were made up of refugees from the Great Aurian War across the sea, and Raktii's Khunfauj army cut them down all the same. Of the nine-thousand men, only a little more than a thousand survived the battle. The brutality of Raktii’s forces caused a black mark on her reign beyond what was already done, but she doubled down by constructing this fort at the battle site.

After the Edeni wars of independence, the fort was freed from Kasaaqi control in 3E292 and taken over by forces of the Kwadenhi. In the modern day, it is still under Kwadenhi control within the Calamity Covenant.
