Furukiri is a coastal city situated on the easternmost point of Eqos within the Western Edeni. It is an ancient city, and used to be the capital of the Kingdom of Kazarin before it was conquered by the Lunar Collective and incorporated into the Lunar Kazarin Protectorate in 3E330.

The city has always been wealthy due to its geographical position on the Kazarin Strait. However, this only made it more necessary for the Lunarians to conquer it in their expansion. It is perhaps one of the most important cities in the world due to the trade-routes that pass through it.

Over time, the demographics of the city changed as more and more Lunarians settled in Furukiri. They built aurian-style buildings and walls and erased much of the native culture. Furukiri is constantly under the ashfall of Kazarin Peak.
