Shhai (شهاي) is an old city on the northeastern coast of Eqos within the titular Shhai Rocks. It is a part of al-Shhubus and considered to be the secondary city of the faction after al-Fahim. Not a lot is known about Shhai as it is not talked about as much as al-Fahim, but is the first major city of the undead faction when going north from the Vurmark Raj. Shhai is known for its extensive mines that dig deep into the Km’mala Peaks. It is believed that unlike al-Fahim that was created by dread lords to begin with, Shhai used to be a holy city of dragonborn and humans before it was corrupted by the miasma of death. It is also much older than the other settlements around it, hence why the Shhai Rocks are named after it. The mines underneath the city are said to excavate into ancient ruins of a long-lost civilization with links to the Shadowfell.
