Melui (मेलुइ or ꯃꯦꯂꯨꯏ) is a fortified village west of Mem’mala and under its jurisdiction. The village is on the northwestern edge of the Kav’orra Desert, just before the grassy Koorjei Valley of the Km’mala Peaks. It served as a fort during the war on the dragonborn centuries ago, but has now developed into a small trading settlement in between Koorjing and Mem’mala. It sustains itself on desert agriculture and a small source of groundwater. The village has a single caravanserai for travelers, and the fort, while still manned by the Sena, has been neglected post-war. 

There has been an effort by druids and clerics alike to extend the grassy plains of the valley to Melui, but they have been generally unsuccessful as the desertification refuses to let up. The harsh conditions of Melui so close to both the cool valley as well as Mem’mala’s oasis make it an undesirable place to live for most, and there is a very small permanent population.
