Rethibad (रेथिबाद) is a town on the Rethi Riverbank in between Jerakh and Nubarii. The settlement is one of the many villages on the riverbank, and marks the point where the influence of Kasaaq-Renara comes to an end and the influence of Dibayad begins. Despite being a border settlement, it has never been as fortified as Nubarii. Rethibad relies on trade and agriculture for its economy, and is protected from the periodic flooding of the river due to being built on a slightly elevated region of the riverbank. It is often considered to be the most peaceful of the riverside settlements, as its believed that nothing of note ever happens in Rethibad. Wars, armies, caravans, ships, and even history seems to pass by the town without stopping. For better or for worse, Rethibad is glossed over as one of the most forgotten towns of the region by the forces that govern it. However, it is said to be built on top of an ancient fire-giant town that was buried under the sediment.
