This one-shot was played in Aug 2026. It was set during the sunset years of the Age of Heroes and involved the goddess Alphus summoning legendary heroes to help defeat the newly ascended Zuggtmoy who had taken over Zeykaria.

These are the sunset years of the age of heroes, just a decade before what would come to be known as the age of doom. Numerous gods walk the land in physical form, and the divine races—Elves, Dwarves, Omniborn, Tritons, Vezaborn, and Faiiali—rule Abmarah.
The goddess of balance, Alphus, has called upon heroes to the glorious city of Ikariyus for a quest of utmost importance: The fungal invasion of the city of Zeykaria. The goddess of rot, Nosos, has blessed her demigod daughter "Zurwen" with immense power, who now seeks to make the city her own domain. The army of Khaz Draxal campaigns off-world against the Illithids, leaving but few to defend the homeland. Be the heroes you are, and save Zeykaria.
In the city of Ikariyus, Alphus summoned 4 heroes to Ikariyus Plaza: Chymes Coblynalfr, Orion the Space Pirate Queen, Wade the Warden, and Zarios Zoran Dedsel. There was a grave danger in Zeykaria: the demigod daughter and Champion of Nosos, Zurwen, had infested the city with fungal spores and corrupted the townsfolk. The mayor/zarios of the city, Zoran, had escaped and now sought help to save his city. After informing the heroes of the situation, the 5 boarded Orion's ship, the Andromeda, and soared off to hopefully end the disaster. Chymes explained that she had met Zurwen once defending the Feywild, but she seemed like a good person then. They discussed each other's heroic reputation on the ride, discussing things such as the revolution and formation of the Aethian Dominion last year by Wade's father, why Zoran was undead (a question he avoided answering), the immense treasure Orion had hidden away, and Chymes' innovations. Alphus philosopined that the greatest threat to the peace of the age of heroes were the very heroes that protected it, and asked them what it'd take for them to turn on their own morals like Zurwen had.
Landing in Zeykaria, Zoran led the four with Alphus's blessing into an underground passage to slip into the city. Within, the party encountered a group of hulking fungus monsters: Necrohulks. They all spoke as one as part of Zurwen's hivemind, delivering Zurwen's declaration to the heroes that she would not stop her corruption. The party fought their way through the passageway and the streets of Zeykaria, facing numerous corrupted citizens and soldiers. After resting briefly, they continued toward the source of the growth, the Temple Plaza, facing a massive Fungal Troll to gain entry. Zurwen told the party of the vision of future her mother Nosos had seen, speaking of the age of doom to approach and the destruction of all rules of society as well as the fall of the gods. She had lost all faith in her purpose, and decided to gain power as nothing was going to matter anymore.
Zurwen had taken over the small temple of Nosos instead of the castle. Within the temple though, the party found a Fungal Domain, with Zurwen inside. Despite a final attempt to reason with her, Zurwen declared herself reborn as Zuggtmoy, the Demon Queen of Fungi, and showcased her dominion by destroying Chymes's Biomech Io (which used mycelium in its construction) and stripping her of her fungal armor. However, Chymes was blessed by her patron Eurion and given greater strength. The party fought desperately against the demon, Chymes being left a whisper from death while Wade and Zoran were both mind controlled by Zuggtmoy's spores. After invoking Alphus's blessing to restore themselves and summoning the goddess herself, Zuggtmoy was successfully banished to the Infinite Abyss. This freed all remaining citizens of the city from Zuggtmoy's infection. The party regrouped outside the temple and reveled in their victory at a bar alongside the goddess.
Of course, the age of doom would come within another decade. Alphus would be killed by Draxal starting the crisis, Chymes's soul would be destroyed by Gunian at Nokren, Orion would disappear, Wade would spend the rest of his life defending his country, and the Cometfall would eventually destroy all of southern Aurial including Zeykaria and Ikariyus as well as all Omniborn. But, these events were not pointless, as Zuggtmoy was banished to the Abyss far away from Abmarah, the Aethian Dominion would survive the crisis, Orion and Zoran's legends would continue forevermore, and Chymes' research would be one day used as one of the bases for the creation of Warforged.
